The last collection Giorgio Ybyrah will ever sign.
After twenty-five years, Giorgio Ybyrah is closing the workshop and moving away. The shelves have to be empty before he goes — and open-toe suede does not survive a winter in a crate. So the last pairs of the Final Collection leave at 80% off. Not because they are worth less, but because he cannot take them with him.
Applied automatically at checkout — no code to enter. Valid on every product in the store, including the Final Collection pairs already at 80% off.
Yacht Mule
Twenty-five years of setting finished pairs down on this bench. This is the last one.

The little gold lock went on last. On my final shoe, it felt like locking the door behind me.

I took this green from the olive tree outside my window. If you keep one pair of mine, make it this one.

One hide arrived, enough for a single run. I crossed these straps knowing I would never draw them again.

The Final Collection is 80% off — the closing price, and the only one these pairs will ever carry.

Final run on this last. The mould retires with the collection. Next summer is a different shoe, at a different price.

No restock. Not in September, not ever. When a size goes, it is gone for good.
Yacht Mule
Eleven colours.
He never released more than five.
Six of them exist nowhere else. When they go, that's it. The 80% off is already applied here — take two pairs or more and checkout takes off more still.
One shape, no laces. It fits whoever puts it on.
Unlined suede that gives where your foot does — nothing to break in, nothing to adjust.
Portofino Yacht Mule
He made these after he decided to stop.
Hand-braided jute, stitched to suede. The last thing he built, and the only line here at full price. Two pairs or more and checkout still takes off up to 30%.
Mediterranean Mule
Fifteen pairs. No two of them identical.
Cut and closed entirely by hand, each with a weighted metal lock set at the vamp. This is the most he ever asked for a shoe — and the last time he will ask it.

Amalfi Sandals
The ones he actually wore.
Two straps crossed over a cork footbed that takes the shape of your foot after a week. He kept a pair by the workshop door for twenty years.

Classic Suède
Closed at the heel. It goes where the mules can't.
Sixteen colours, one shape. Same suede and same last as the mules, with the back left on — office, dinner, boat, all in the same week.

Hesitant at first, then relieved
I was honestly a little hesitant ordering from a brand I hadn't bought from before, especially with the current price. Once the pair arrived, that concern disappeared. The shoes looked exactly like the photos and the quality was immediately noticeable.
Exactly like the photography
My biggest concern was whether the actual shoe would look as good as it does online. It does. The suede, shape and overall finish are very close to what you see in the product photography.
A completely smooth first order
First purchase from YBYRAH and everything went smoothly. I received my order confirmation, tracking information and the shoes arrived in 8 days. Nothing unexpected and the product was exactly what I ordered.
Now I understand the price
The discount was actually what made me hesitate at first because it seemed almost too good. After receiving them, I understand why so many people mention the quality. The suede feels great and the finishing is much better than I expected for what I paid.
These are not clearance shoes
These don't feel like inexpensive clearance shoes at all. The suede is soft and dense, the stitching is clean and the inside feels properly finished. Very impressed when I took them out of the box.
True to size
I'm usually an EU 43 and ordered the same size here. Length was right and the fit across the top felt secure. After wearing them a few times the suede relaxed slightly and they became even more comfortable.
My first mule, and it stays on
I had never owned a mule before and thought I might have to keep gripping the shoe with my toes when walking. That hasn't been the case. The upper holds my foot surprisingly well and they feel very natural to walk in.
Easier to style than expected
I bought these mainly for summer evenings and ended up wearing them much more than expected. They work with linen trousers, jeans and even shorts. Probably one of the easiest shoes in my wardrobe to style.
The suede has real character
The suede is probably my favorite part. It changes slightly in tone depending on which direction you brush it, which looks really nice in person. It has much more character than a completely flat synthetic material.
Ageing, not wearing out
After a few weeks of wearing them, the suede has started developing a little character around the areas where the shoe naturally bends. Nothing looks cracked or damaged — they're simply starting to look broken-in.
Six hours, no complaints
Comfort surprised me. I wore them for around six hours the first proper day out and didn't feel like I needed to change shoes. They're light and the sole flexes naturally when walking.
The colour is accurate
The photographs are very accurate, especially the color. I ordered the Beige and there was no unpleasant surprise when I opened the box. What you see on the site is basically what arrives.
It is in the small details
What convinced me after receiving them was the small details. The stitching around the front, the texture of the suede and the way the leather is finished inside all make the shoe feel much more considered than I expected.
Support actually answered
I had a question about sizing and contacted customer service. They got back to me and helped resolve it. That gave me a lot more confidence in ordering from YBYRAH again.
Took the chance, glad I did
I was mainly worried because I had never heard of YBYRAH before finding the site. Took the chance and I'm glad I did. The order arrived, the product matched the listing and the entire experience felt completely normal.
Premium up close, not only in photos
I've bought shoes online before that looked premium in the photos and completely different in person. These were not like that. The suede and construction genuinely look good up close.
Late, but worth the wait
Really happy with the shoes themselves. My order took four days longer than I originally expected, which is the only reason I'm giving four stars. The product arrived safely though and was exactly as pictured.
Snug at first, right after that
The first wear felt slightly snug across the top of my foot, so I wasn't completely sure about them at first. After a couple of wears the suede softened and the fit became much better. I would keep my normal size.
Learned what the nap does
Very nice pair overall. The suede does show changes in shade when you touch or brush it, which I wasn't expecting initially. Once I understood that this is just the nap moving, I actually started to like the effect.
Great pair, simple packaging
I'm very satisfied with the quality and fit. Packaging was simple and I would have liked slightly more frequent tracking updates, but the important part is that the shoes arrived correctly and looked just like the website.
Before you pick a pair.
The four things people write in and ask, answered straight.
Open at the heel — will it actually stay on?
It holds at the opening, not at the heel. The throat is cut to grip across the instep, which is why that line took eleven versions to settle — three millimetres too open and the shoe walks off you. It stays on at a walking pace, on stairs and on stone. It is not a shoe to run for a train in.
Why is the Final Collection 80% off? Is it a lesser version?
Same shoes, same workshop, same run that sold at full price in June. Nothing was changed to bring the price down. The workshop is closing and the shelves have to be empty before Giorgio moves — the 80% off is the deadline, not the quality. Giorgio Ybyrah's Final Collection is the one that carries it; the other lines are not discounted that way.
Will unlined suede survive a summer?
It darkens where your foot bends, and that is the shoe ageing rather than failing — the pairs Giorgio kept for himself are three summers in. Brush it dry, keep it out of the washing machine, and let it dry away from direct sun if it gets wet.
What if the size is wrong?
You have a 60-day exchange guarantee from the day it arrives. Take your usual size; the suede gives a little across the instep over the first week, the sole does not. If you are between sizes, write to us before you order and we will tell you which way to go.
